studying 8-10 hrs a day during STUVAC (1 Viewer)

All the people that are saying that they do 10 - 14 hours a day it just seems that your saying these hours or just doing these hours to either impress someone or a attempt to make yourself feel better.

I honestly could not do 10 hours a day or even 7

i have been doing around 4 - 5 hours of solid study each day and ive felt its been really beneficial and i feel like ive learnt so much in a short amount of time.

Not saying that its gay to study for 10 hours but i honestly believe im getting the same result doing 4 - 5 as i would doing 10.

how do you know? you were unable to do 10 hours

I never go library, but from what i've heard, yes.

Yeah its the same at the library I go to (waverly library)

It used to be really good, but now everybody goes there and end up talking and it gets so noisy.

at the library i wasted my time at today - yeh its the same.
i swear phones should automatically turn themselves off when a person enters a library. this guy near me seriously had a full-on conversation about AFL Trade week, a bbq he was going to tomorrow night, and his dinner date with a mates sister.
i would have got up and moved, but he was so loud that i could practically hear him wherever i went.
so instead i left.

Woot, gogo my local library.

Quiet as the world to a deaf person.

Sat there for like 5 hours completely summarised and learnt the Business course.
Went and got lunch, did another 2 hours of Chem

Only one phone went off, one or two kids.
I find the worst thing to be the photocopying machine.

NB I'm doing okish, I'm coming 21/180 in Sydney Grammar, and i usually only do 2-3 hours a day 3-4 weeks before an exam.

Are all your 8-10hours productive though ? lol cos I know in one day , the most productive work I can do would be anywhere from 3-4 hours. No more than that xD

Very. I do 50 minutes on, ten off.
Rinse repeat.
That way I dont get all cobwebbed and bogged down.
if im on a roll i just keep going though

If I feel like its becoming useless and I'm not focussed, I go for a run and a swin and come back in an hour.
