I know studying is debatable(if i spelt write) thing and diff. people have different views on how to study. Just wondering I heard a suggestion which I believe was good: When taking notes the person did not use his book he just used textbooks for everything and nothing from his book. Is that way of studying good?

Hmm how i do it is i have a big pile of handwritten notes for each subject, at the end of the week i spend an hour or so adding that weeks material to it. before exams i generally type it up and tidy it a bit so i understand it better and just re-read them over and over, making additions as i give thme to my teacher and he gives me hints about what is iportant to know
