GTI. But I'm biased. 86 for looks, GTI for everything. Simple. You can pick up a GTI for well under 50k with a few Km's on them.

im in the same position as you Fonzie, i really like 86/BRZ for looks but the performance is pretty shit, whilst i enjoy the GTi for most of it's features/preformance but less looks.

If you want straight line performance on your Ps just get a falcon, commodore or aurion.

we had a falcon v6 falcon but it started to miss and had to do a trade in, now we have a mazda 3.

i'm not necessarily wanting a car as of yet whilst i'm on my P's im looking for a car in the next year or two, i.e. to buy in 2015+, I saw the Golf Gti 2015, look's epic and performs well.

I don't know if it's fair to say the performance is **** but rather, it's strengths aren't in outright power/acceleration.

I'm not sure if anyone will agree with me but the manual transmissions which Mazda uses are awesome (some of the best I have seen).

There's no such thing as a v6 falcon. Just straight sixes.
