I know it's completely pointless but....
if you had to choose subjects again would you changed anything?
List what you chose and if and how you would change it.

I'll start:
I chose economics, modern, bio, 4 english, ext history
If i could choose again....
modern, bio, general math, business, legal, 3 unit english

and by the by....
Does anyone around here know of anyone who re-did the HSC coz Im thinking of re-doing it again (NOt realy) lol. Did the people who re-did the HSC at TAFE do well?

Cheers

i dont really regret any of my subject choices.

also: its best not to repeat the hsc. even if you did do crap. there are other ways of succeding in getting to uni (if uni is your aim) or if not the hsc is practically useless anyway. youre better of going to tafe and getting a certificate/diploma.

You can regret it, but make the best of it. It's never too late. Trust me - I screwed up a TON of my subjects, and really lost my love for quite a few of them in the lead up to the HSC exams.

and now.. I'm doing Com/Law at USYD. :)

I love all my subjects :D

but note that your second choice of subjects are significantly lower scaling, so you have to do better in those to justify your choice.

i did
mathematics(dropped to general)
english advanced
drama
visual arts
physics
music (dropped at the start of year 12)

note: i moved from queensland mid 2007 where i was doing legal & business, not physics and music.

i wish i did:
general maths
ext 2 english (only reason i didnt do it was because queensland didnt have an ext course)
drama
visual arts
society and culture
legal studies

i doubt i would still be doing them all... but yesh.

I would change:
Modern History - into - Physics
SDD - into - Japanese

Essay writing isn't my strongest thing, and software just fails.

Would probably change chemistry to ancient.

Or, chemistry to economics.

OR, chemisty to biology.

God, chemistry. :'(

I did Eng Adv, Physics, Chemistry , Economics and Ext 2 Maths.

I guess they weren't that unbearable, I just regretted those choices when exam time came around.

In a perfeCt world I would have done:

Visual Arts, Drama, PDHPE and general maths.

The only real subject regret I have is doing Extension Maths and not being able to do Extension 2 English.

ok i started yr 11 with

maths, extension maths, adv eng, ext eng, drama, chem, ancient history, geo, catholi studies

yes it was a lot. after 2 weeks i dropped ext maths. Afte ra term and a bit i dropped geo. and at the end of term 3 i dropped extension english

i now do maths, chem, drama, ancient adn adv eng

i regret dropping geo cos i was topping with nooo effort i wish i hdnt started with either extension cos that was just a wate of tiem especially english extension. and i wish i did bio instead of chem because its just too hard. and i wish i had done latin instead of ancient history because i was awesome at latin! and i coulda come first dammit but i got to go to europe for ancient history which is a plus lol

shouldn't you have known what level you are at by the feedback the teachers give you in your english essays years before year 11 and 12? also have you spoken to your teachers to see if you can be moved?
