Recently, I was originally planning to do only Advanced English and Ext 1 Maths + SOR 1 but today, my teacher recommended that I undertake the Extension 1 English course because I am a strong candidate for it. (There will only be 1 Eng Ext 1 class - 20 students maximum). I am considering to do it BUT:
The main problems that come into the factors of decision include:
-Will I be able to handle two extension courses workload with my poor study habits?
-Is it critical that you read ALOT to be able to perform well, according to my teacher but I rarely/never read novels or most books for the fact.
- Is it actually going to be too hard for me?

My possible subject selection line-up:
Ext 1 Maths ----------------------------------------Ext 1 Maths
Studies of Religion 1 ----------------------VS--------------Ext 1 English
Advanced English
Economics
Physics
Legal Studies vs Chemistry

I also need help picking my last subject!
I am considering either Legal Studies or Chemistry but I don't know which one to choose! I kind of like them equally...
(I thought that Legal Studies might be beneficial for me in UNI as I plan to possibly undertake a commerce course in UNI. Other possible pathways for me are an engineering course or architectural studies)
So, Legal Studies vs Chemistry - Can anyone provide cons and/or pros for both? (E.g. difference in workload, competition involved or what can indicate that I'd do better in a certain one)

Will Legal Studies have any correlations with Economics in any way?
All appropriate advice will be appreciated. :awesome:

If you want to do commerce, I've been told that business studies is a really good foundation. Its also the easiest subject ever and the workload and study is literally nothing except memorising the terms of the syllabus (comes to around 4 a4 pages) and then its just a lot of common sense and making up stuff that sounds intellligent (easy if you're good at english)

And english extension, basically did nothing in year11 except I think one essay and one performance/speech, I think its up to your scchool. And then year12 you spend your entire year preparing for 1 essay and 1 story. And nothing else.
