He certainly is! hence, why I HAD to pick it. I wish I had also done his Semester 1 subject but oh well.

Yeah I'm still unsure about which govt subject to do other than Ethics & Politics.
I'm tossing up between government.business.society or the Islam one or the Middle East politics.
I guess I'll crash a couple of different lectures in teh first week to see which I like the best.

dammit! another subject i have to do. stop offering so many awesome units, artsfac.

the islam one could be quite good actually. from the description it sounds like a lily rahim special - she's awesome, can seem a bit fearsome and not much humour other than the occasional one-liner but she packs heaps of info into her lectures. (and the middle eastern politics one isn't on the govt department site or in the official online handbook on ssa, so i think it's been cancelled.)

Yes the Australian History subjects are quite good.

I was wondering why I couldnt find the Middle East subject in the online handbook.
Damn. Well that narrows it down.

Islam vs Government, Business and Society.

my advice: check their timetables. real uni students choose subjects based entirely on how they fit into their schedule. (this is why im not sure if ill do anhs2691 next sem - if i do it i'll have a five-day week, which would suck hard.)

That's how I did my subjects this semester.
I only picked subjects that ran Tues, Wed & Thursday.
In the end, I fit them all into Tues and Wednesday.

So hopefully next semester will be Tues/Wed and Thursday only.

I need another unit for Semester 2
Currently enrolled in:
FINC2012 - Corporate Finance 2
ECOS2902 - Intermediate Macroeconomics Honours
ECMT1020 - Business And Economic Statistics B
HSTY2658 - French Politics And Culture

However, every History unit seems to have lectures on at 10 or 11 Monday mornings which clashes with my Macro lecture, so that rules French Politics and Culture out.
I'm transferring to Commerce (Liberal Studies) next semester, so I thought I might get a science unit out of the way.
Does anyone know if you need to have done PSYC1001 to do PSYC1002?

Don't think so. Unless you're planning to do 2nd year psych.

For Commerce (Liberal Studies) no you don't need to do PSYC1001 or PSYC1002 unless you want to - or you can choose any other science unit (provided that there is no prerequisites or you have fulfilled the prerequisites). :)
Yeah, I was wondering if you needed to do PSYC1001 to do PSYC1002 :)
Doesn't matter, will probably just do some maths anyway
