WHYYY do people keep regretting the fact that they didn't do art??

DONT REGRET IT!

Art is the most physically and emotionally taxing subject ever.

Making a physical embodyment of your deepest emotions in your HSC year, only to be judged is horrendous... its like marking your soul

Its subjective, and u can never be guaranteed a good mark

U are expected to jump through hoops in order to get a good mark, but this is of detrement to the original message of your work...

In the end art is NOT a fun, easy, enotional release.
Its an HSC subject in which getting a good mark is the main agenda.

... you dont need school to do art, create something in your spare time, with
no restrictions,
no constraints,
no judgements....

!!!whats stopping you?

I really wish I had done art instead of Bio - argh
I also really wish I had done Advanced Engrishe - argh - oh well, I wouldn't be going as well as I am now I guess.... still -argh
And I wish I had done a language.... there's plenty of time to do that in my life I guess.
I did wish I hadn't done Maths, but then fixed that by dropping it ;)

I realise that, but as I did Extension II English, I did what you did - in word form. I would have liked to do it in pant media, as well. It's two totally different worlds, expressing emotion and thought as word as well as a visual entity

What's stopping me at home? Truthfully? Resources. *shrug* The school has resources, and I can't afford to go out and buy canvasses and paints and shit.
