To all the people out there who have done Economics this year..

What is the best way to go about studying for economics in Year 12. Ive heard that you need to apply your knowledge to the global economy but are there any resources or newspapers that would be helpful for this.

Please guys.. I NEED YOUR HELP. :D

Economics is the easiest subject in the world. All you need is to understand the key concepts clearly..

Nothing hard.

1. Go through the sylabus closely and make sure you understand each point.

2. Use multiple textboooks to gain a broader knowledge - Tim Dixon is the best, Riley and Bulmer are also good.

3. Keep up to date on latest economics news and statistics through newspapers and magazines eg. SMH, Financial Review. The Economist etc.

4. Do as many practice questions and past papers as possible and practice writing essays for each topic.

Make sure you read the newspapers, especially any Ross Gittins articles in the SMH. I think he writes them 2 or 3 times a week?
Also, visit the RBA website and the leading edge website occasionally - they update statistics there regularly.
