hey, i have a physics sucess one book with papers from 2001-2003... i am wondering if it is too out of date to bother with or if it will still be relelvant enough

The syllabus hasn't changed that much, and it would still be beneficial for you to practise. Grab the latest papers from the Board and find similar questions in the book for its answers if you'd like.

i think the only major syllabus change is that you don't have to know about de broglie and the wave-particle duality of electrons, but it's useful background knowledge anyway.

For the syllabus it is up to date and has the changes that occured in Oct 2002. Look for the comments about HSC questions that are no longer relevant.
The newer versions have more recent past papers
