The starting salary for an enrolled (TAFE-trained) nurse is approximately $35000 and the starting salary for a registered nurse (university-trained) is about $45000 - $50000. Nurse practitioners earn in excess of $105000 p.a. Nurse Unit Managers and Directors of Nursing can earn between $150000 - $175000 p.a.
