Byron would be a really good place to goto schoolies, I went there in the christmas holidays, and its so laid back but the best partying atmosphere. There are a few nightclubs, being LaLa land and Cheeky Monkeys. From my expeirence, most of the locals are at LaLa land, and the staff are really cool, laid back people. Cheeky Monkeys are for mostly touros, great place to meet people from all around. Me and my friend are going up to Goldy for schoolies, the both weeks and coming back to stay in Byron on the way down.

I live near Byron and it's a nice place.
It tends to fill up really quickly with schoolies, so if you're gonna go i'd be looking at booking asap.
Main beach is normally fairly crowded, the nicest is Watego's but it isnt patrolled alot of the time so if you wanna be safe i'd stick to main.
and the pub opposite main is also a really good feed.
i'd def reccomend byron, its absolutely beautiful
