I agree, Spacey was a great Luthor, and a great villian. It seemed slightly silly though when he started talking about selling off the island as real estate...who'd pay money to live on a radioactive waste land? :/

the only people who would buy it would probably be criminals once they realised that superman couldnt touch them there. and of course, luthor would make them pay through the roof for the smallest part of that land. hence bank robberies and crimes in the parts of america which still exist (and the rest of the world) would go up. every way, luthor wins.

This was disappointing :/ Kate Bosworth was a really bad choice as Lois. 4/10.

I didn't like Kate Bosworth as Lois. I was very underwhelmed when I finished watching it. That said ... my favourite bits:

* Jason throwing the piano, although the kid did kill someone which really didn't sit well with me.

* Opening credits that were very much like the first Superman movie.

* The Superman and Jason scene at the end.

And the end credits ... anyone else find them a bit cheap? I know they're credits but they looked really dodgy.
