ahaha, i have a secret advantage... since my mum teaches it for drama, there's like 4 copies to my right. good play though. one of the individual projects for drama at onstage this year was like an aussie appropriation set in a pub, also very good.

a couple of other additions:
Blackadder (tv show - someone used it in my class they got 18/20 or something so I assume it's doable)

Run Lola Run

Perfume
American Splendour (film and comics)
Some Like It Hot (I don't really think this is postmodern, since it's filmed in the 50s, by Billy Wilder, but it's got lots of gender confusion...and my friends used it)
Elizabeth Costello (or anything by Coetzee)
History of the World in 101/2 Chapters
The Body Artist

I used this for my trial and lost marks. Apparently it's better left just as a reference to the philosophies which inform the texts, rather than as a text itself.

Drusilla Modjeska's Stravinsky's Lunch (novel)
Austin Powers Goldmember (not great for in depth analysis but a good example of how PoMo has infiltrated mainstream consciousness)
Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (all male drag show that imitates female ballets)
Jeanette Winterson's Sexing the Cherry (novel)

I've used Shrek and the Artemis Fowl novels by Eoin Colfer. And a song by Thirsty Merc called Emancipate Myself.

I dont think its a very good idea to be studying video games. Because postmodernism is an ENGLISH elective, the makers will be looking for literary texts. My teachers (one who is like a rep for the board) stressed this a lot during my hsc. So, dont choose artworks or video games as they have less to do with literature and more to do with postmodern archictecture and art.

Novel: The Thursday next series by Jasper Fforde. (One book is good for like the whole syllabus, and plus, it beats the prescribed texts)
"Sophie's world" by Josteen Gaarder
Film: "amelie" by jean pierre jeanut

The genre (if you can really call it that when really its merely a culmination of other genres stuck into one) really doesnt have a boundary as such and i think if you can find a game which breaks conventions and you can relate it back to post modernism using techniques then good for you.
