Hey there,
If I wanted to switch degrees from comm/econ to comm/engo, do I still need to get 75WAM that the internal transfer program requires if I had the ATAR to get in originally? First year btw.

Read the Internal Program Transfer guidelines. You can apply through UAC and do the ATAR thing I think - but because UNSW's Internal Program Transfer is all done online, it's easier that way.

If you were to transfer internally then yes you'd have to have at least 75 WAM. But if you applied through UAC then UNSW will take whatever's higher your atar or uni marks- that is if you've only done 1 year, more than a year and its mostly uni marks taken into consideration.
