Sydney Winter School-Worth it? (1 Viewer)

I've just been offered a Winter School scholarship for one of my Semester 2 Units of Study, and I'm not sure whether to accept it. It is a partial scholarship. Instead of $3600 I'll be paying around the same amount as a semester 2 UoS (maybe even a little more), so there is really no financial advantage. My only concern is the it starts three days after my last exam. Therefore I will not have a holiday until October. I know that sounded awfully lazy, but Winter School is meant to help you maximise your marks, and I'm not sure I can do that coming into class straight after my finals. Has anyone else done winter/summer school before? Are there any other advantages to it?

I've done Summer School before, and I'm doing Winter School this year.

There are a number of advantages; smaller classes, more focused learning, faster paced, much more access for help. I would definitely recommend it. Whether you are willing to give up the majority of your holidays is up to you, personally I go a bit stir-crazy if I don't have anything to do.
