I have been summarising the syllabus dot points for chem, physics and Eco but do u guys recommend doing so for English and Maths or is it ok what I'm doing,

Every weekend go over the weeks work for chem, physics and Eco and summaries the corresponding dot points and do this every week.

Maths, practice practice and more practice
english, write essays+ short stories and get teacher to improve on them, so hand them min and get feedback and read regularly. Also try to get the right structure for essays.

So is it worth doing the same for English and Maths as for Eco, chem and physics or should I stick to what I'm doing.

What you're doing currently is absolutely fine.
Maffs - Do your homework and you should be fine.
English - Do whatever you think is necessary to improve.

Sometimes, you MIGHT find that you won't be able to find time to answer syllabus dot points and rather you should just do the work given (assignments, homework, etc.) and leave dot points until a later time (e.g. holidays)

No point doing dotpoints for English and Maths. They're not dotpoint-y subjects.

Yeah that's true. I am Trying to fit in the syllabus dot point summarising all on Sundays. Sunday's is just study day for me. Though the holidays won't be holidays for me haha.

Do assignments + homework first.
Trust me, although u may want to leave them till the last week, do EVERYTHING ASAP. Im doing it now, soooo beneficial when comparing to others.
If u don't have time to do dot point summarising, do them in holidays or weekends.

You can afford to be a bit lazy with dot points in Year 11. Focus on your assignments and homework!
