I applied through the Careers Advisory at my school in Sydney nearly 4 weeks ago. How long does it take for ATO to send you your Tax File Number?

Might be best to check with your careers advisor to make sure he/she isn't sitting on it.

For me I think it didn't take that long (only a couple of weeks) but I did this like... 6 years ago.

I got my TFN around 2-3 months after I gave my form into the careers advisor to send off. I received it in the mail. This was in 2010.
