I think it's completely fine, especially when the student has finished.

I mean, surely the student would be old and mature enough to make decisions that are rigth for them. Besides, it's just like every other relationship, infact probably even better than any other relationship where one is almost double the age of the other. Think about, you basically know this person and what they're like...
