Yes, I studied it for module C.Originally posted by jayz
Assuming you studied Ted Hughes under mod C, telling the truth.
What r your views on the 'truth' or 'lies' shown in his poetry.
thanks
The general gist of the module is determine "who is telling the truth?", "who has the right to define the truth?" and "is there such a thing as absolute truth?" In the poetry of Ted Hughes you are to determine if Ted is teling the truth about his relationship, or distorting it now that Sylvia is dead. You should look at poems by sylvia, and possibly accounts by others who knew them to help you decide.Originally posted by jayz
basically, i am not quiet sure what we are suppose to write for mod c in hsc
Aren't you suppose to say something relating to your belief of the truth in relation to Ted Hughes Poems?
There is isn't a NEED to, but it is probably a good idea. They help you to explain how the truth my be percieved ...Originally posted by jayz
To McLake:
Is there any needed to relate to the readings of Ted Hughe's poems when explaining the 'truth' he is trying to potray?
This depends on the question. You can use Ted's perspecive, Sylvia's perspective, a friends perspective or your own perspective. It depends on what you want to say about Ted & the truth ...Originally posted by kurotenshi
just in general...
when we are "telling the truth", is it more on what we think according to the materials we have about Ted H?
thanks
I would say at least two and at most four.Originally posted by jayz
How many poems by Hughes do u have to refer to in an exam essay? (3/4?)
What are the better poems to use? (Fulbright Scholars, The Minotaur, Red?)
