Does anybody know when the USNW Bookshop website releases the textlists?

Don't know, but you don't need to worry too much about it. You can buy your books after your lecturer tells you what you need (in many cases it's not really necessary).

Easy cheat way to check:

http://www.bookshop.unsw.edu.au/cgi-bin/bookweb/subject2?subject1=MATH2019&Submit=Submit

Replace MATH2019 with course code. Might not be fully updated for all subjects though.

Like said above, wait until the lectures as well, so many textbooks are a waste of time, especially in first year.
