Greece has decriminalised all narcotic substances. All drugs should be legal.

So was Zyklon-B.Most 'hard' drugs were created out of a need to find new drugs that were legal.
he's from lake macquarie areaBalinese laws are ridiculous. The kid is obviously some bogan fuckwit from the central coast. They should reveal his identity (i know legal issues), but the embarrassment is worse.
What was his name?he's from lake macquarie area
they DID reveal his name because the media are sleazy as hell and only not-allowed to do so if he's charged in Australia
I can't remember although Google it and you will easily find it. The news crews even interviewed his school classmates etc. What was his name?
True, but that surely must play in the back of your mind when you are in Indonesia and in the drug-buying market.Part of me thinks that no kid ever gives a shit about Schapelle Corby when you're about 10-11 years old when it happened.
Their laws are their laws. We have to respect them. Saudi Arabian women can't drive - I think that's a stupid law, but that's their law and if you're in their country, put up with it - or say hello to gaol.Balinese laws are ridiculous. And soon his name will cease to be mentioned. Remember when Casey Heynes body slammed that kid? The video was streamed fully for a day or two and then suddenly it was all pixelated.he's from lake macquarie area

I don't like this whole "Your prisons are too rough, we'll discipline him here". It's like slapping the other country in the face. No, I think he committed his crime there, and he does whatever Indonesian authorities tell him to do. If that means going to jail there, and then good - because his 'I won't ever touch drugs again' will be assured.I think the real world is giving him a well deserved slap to the face, what an idiot. Saying that, he is only 14 years old and should get deported to an Australian detention centre as Indonesian prison's are rough.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to spend some time in an Indonesian prison. I think you don't understand that even though it is just some lad idiot that won't learn anything from this experience they are still just a kid. Have some compassion.I don't like this whole "Your prisons are too rough, we'll discipline him here". It's like slapping the other country in the face. What about your duty to disregard an unjust lawWell, if he didn't want to spend time in an Indonesian prison - he shouldn't have committed a crime in Indonesia. I am of the belief he'll learn to never fuck with the law again if he spends a good length of time in an Indonesian prison.
I would have compassion, but it's people like them who ruin the world.
I agree that he should do a brief stint in a Balinesian prison but not the whole of his sentence otherwise he will just become a criminal.Well, if he didn't want to spend time in an Indonesian prison - he shouldn't have committed a crime in Indonesia. The laws against having drugs is not unjust. If it was unjust, then sure - the Government here should do everything it can to stop it.What about your duty to disregard an unjust law
Like smuggling jews out of germany etc..
