The bored of studies released that a good length for any extended response question (So including those in Paper 2) is 6-8 EXAM BOOKLET PAGES.

That is around 3-4 A4 Pages.

However they prefer quality over quantity.

So if you write 4 exam booklet pages extremely well, you'd get higher than a person who wrote 6 exam booklet pages only decently.

Just though I'd let all those who are stressing know.

I only managed about 5 pages, but my teacher says I'm definitely quality over quantity so I hope for a semi-decent mark anyway.

Did anyone get the 4-page booklets this year? I think everyone at my centre got the 8-page ones.

Managed to pump out 7 pages of quality work. It was much easier with only two texts because it doesn't seem like you are prolonging your thesis. Pretty fair exam, as well.

Same here :)
and agree with it being easier with 2 texts, the integration was in pretty much straight forward linear fashion.

God I hate people using pages as an example. Everyone has different writing and ways on physically structuring their piece. USE WORDS AS MEASUREMENTS

I wrote 8 pages but that would only be slightly over 900 words
most people's letters get bigger as they write

Romulus, My Father communicates
took 1 line for me in my conclusion

would they ever deduct marks for something being 'too long' or not the 'good length'?

I wrote 12 pages - although I write big to prevent my hands from cramping up.
???
