I just read up on liberal quaker, it actually sounds pretty similar to my own beleifs.... a few differences, but yeah actually a decent match.

Thank god I'm not a JW, that would be *the worst*. Although what is more worrying is that I'm more Islam than I am JW and tbh if I had to be one or the other, I'd be a JW

What is sikh?
Sikhism is a religion founded in the 1500's by Guru Nanak Dev Ji who became the first of 10 Gurus (leaders or spiritual teachers) that laid down the tenets of the modern religion. Essentially it is based on 3 main virtues:
  • Perform good deeds in your life, undertake a truthful living and it is only in this honest life that someone can actually realise the goodness of humanity
  • Share with the needy, and help those who need it. This is generally an idea based in humanism that there is no greater way to realise God than to aid fellow human beings and animals. If ever you see someone in poverty with little to eat, you should make an effort for em. This has become pracise at sikh temples where we have what is called 'langar' or free food for all who come regardless of religion etc.
  • Finally you should aim to remember God who is not some form of external baing but rather resides in all of us...
Hope that helped but if you need more info Sikhism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
