Where do you get your coffee from? :)

For me, Gloria Jeans. Latte or Mocha or Caramelatte. If I get sick of it, White Hot Chocolate. :)

Love it or hate it?

Favourite brands? Coffeeshops? How much (e.g heaped teaspoon etc)

I love coffee, drink it daily. One teaspoon and two sugars.

Perfection :)

I also love the smell of coffee.

I prefer local coffee places, Gloria Jeans etc so expensive. The city is great because coffee is so cheap. Uni is my favourite place because they have lactose-free milk rather than just soy.

On the way to work:
Strathfield Station - C.C's Chargrill
In the City - That organic place in Martin Place

Near uni/bf's place:
North Ryde - The italian deli in cox's rd.

I love a Mocha but I am only just starting to drink coffee so we shall see...

starbucks usually 'cause it's delicious
first avenue is awesome, definitely best coffee going however there aren't many of them
maccas coffee is pretty fucking decent and super convenient
local coffee places can sometimes make a decent coffee/whatever but i find it hard to trust a lot of them lol

gloria jeans can bite my ass

I find that most fast-food type coffee places are soulless and make their coffee accordingly. Its always the small but really awesome cafe that makes brilliant coffee.

All fast food places have putrid, putrid coffee. Anywhere local, I'm a huge fan of Campos, though. Obama blend, so sue me.

this.

i only ever go to gloria jeans/starbucks/etc if
1. there is no other option, or
2. i actually just want a lolly/dessert drink

i am pretty sure their "coffee" is just coffee flavoured dirt.

Wow you guys amaze me with your GJs/Starbucks/Maccas. I am very picky about my coffee- usually take 2 or so a day (working fulltime). It's definitely got to be a proper coffeeshop/cafe. I can easily pick a good or bad one and nothing ruins my day more than a poorly made coffee. One of the perks of my job I suppose is that I'm required to travel to various client sites and hence get exposure to a lot of different types of coffee.... definitely preferring a heavier roast now.

Even my local carwash in North Rocks makes better coffees than GJs/Starbucks... so if i'm having a drink there, I'd rather get a specialty drink or even a white chocolate mocha rather than a typical coffee.

Maccas/GJs/etc is the worst for coffee. The WORST. Dirt flavoured hot milk, gross.

I'm not even that hung up on coffee quality because I normally just drink it to wake me up rather than for the taste but there is a massive difference between the nice stuff you get from local cafes and the crap you get from chains.

Is anybody else thinking: "I got it from my mama!" Or is that just me... and yeah GJs is always good for the Tim Tam Chillers, but also like their mochas. Otherwise, some awesome talented family member can make me my cappucino/latte when I go over once every blue moon.
