I got invited as well for getting a Merit award (4gpa in 1st year). Should be fun i guess.

I am not sure if that's what I went before.. I was invited for accg251 merit prize in 2nd smstr 2008.. i got only $100 and a certificate stating that i got the award.. for accounting we're supposd to get $200 but there were 2 people getting the award for accg251 that time so i only get half..
if thats what faculty award is then its just like 30 minutes - 1 hour where the head of faculty gave speech and everyone who got awards got called to the stage and take a pic one by one with dean of faculty..
