Both participants tilt in a direction (usually right), so as to avoid noses clashing. As for the angle of this tilt... I guess anywhere between noses clashing and necks aching will do.

My first kiss was pretty sweet considering the setting etc., as it was on a bench in front of the MCA in Circular Quay and we'd just walked across the harbour bridge from Milsons. Very romantic scenery, however I had no idea as to what to do so I named different kinds of fruit in my head.
