yeah, i heard about that this afternoon on the guardian. pretty tragic, especially since he was just about to claim first-choice keeper for Germany.

Neuer and Adler are both going to fight for the #1 place in the future..but someone a little more experienced should be played atm, maybe Wiese..he's been pulling stunning saves at Bremen and he's 27 (peak age??)

absolutely devastated that van persie is out - he is expected to miss 2-3 months pending x-rays and for what, a pointless international friendly which ended in a drab goalless draw?

everytime RVP finds his form for arsenal, he is forced to go away on 'international duty' only to return all mangled and for arsenal to pick up the bill.
