Re: The Official Football Thread

Did you not read the second part of the sentence

AFL overall becomes a sport of zero skill because the way to win requires no skill

Re: The Official Football Thread

Well it may not be as easy to score a goal as it is in afl, but that does not mean afl requires no skill to score

Was checking up on the game on ESPN Soccernet last night and I turned off the computer at 2-0 in the 75th thinking we had done it.

I saw that on Sunrise as well

Just how much cash do Sydney have to throw around? Thought we used up all of it for ADP

Re: The Official Football Thread

Yeah maybe but have you ever seen a soccer player bend a goal around a corner from behind the goals - I don't think so . And Afl uses marking, rucking and handball so the all round skill is phenomenal
Well.... Roberto Carlos once scored a goal from the outside of his boot that was pretty much level with the goals.

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Ah I remember Avram Grant

I don't follow a lot of EPL - but I just remember him getting the Chelsea gig, losing the UCL final and somehow getting fired afterward.

I always thought he was terribly unlucky for that
