Rugrats was good and fun to watch but I dislike the newer episodes that include the baby (well they are all babies but I mean the baby brother).

Wheres Wally was fun but they had limited episodes and many repeats.

Ship 2 Shore, theres been many different versions and seasons (not all on ABC).

There was this cartoon (non-ABC show) that had this weird tall guy with really black hair and a curl at the front. DOn't remember much but it was weird at the time.

Ah... Good ol' abc shows!

The heart kid (from Captain Planet) got very much ripped off with the powers there...
Agreed, what a shithouse power. On the other hand though, he had a pet monkey, which at least goes some way towards compensation :)

Just remebered that Channel 7 show - Spellbinders - where the Russian 'spellbinders' could be accessed through a portal somewhere near Penrith/Blue Mountains, and you entered their dimension. And then the main guy brought some chick back from the Spellbinder world and she was happy because she got to ride in a car.

yeah that sounds about right.

New ABC for kids shows just suck. I put on ABC at around 5:00 yesterday just to see what the quality was like... we had it SOOO much better in our day.

meanwhile i found my old rocky and bullwinkle video yesterday. That show is gold :D i mean how can you beat borris badinov? what a name!!! it was named the 3rd best cartoon of all time in SMH

5 minute segments were good.

Bangers and Mash....someone also mentioned Gogs [best 5 minute show ever] and Freaky Stories [which was stupid and it didnt really freak me out].

These days, all the shows are faggoty.

I liked the little five minute segment from way back with the two little plasticine men, one blue and one green, filmed against a plain white background.

One episode I remember they had a fight, and built a (plasticine) wall between them with little bricks, then got sad on their own and cried for a bit, then tore down the wall. Good stuff!

those 5 minute ones were absolutely classic.

there was this cartoon about this bunch of animals and their little adventures, and for the life of me i dont know what it was... it was obviously hand drawn... and there was no dialogue...

yehi heard the rocky and bullwinkle movie totally sucked. You just can't improve on the cartoon. it was so excellently crafted. including the 5 minute segments like aesop's tales, dudley Doo-right, fractured fairytales etc etc.

What about the game show called amazing where the kids had to look for the keys in the maze. The earlier seasons where heaps good but the later ones where kinda crap. I always wanted to go on it!
I loved bangers & mash.
Also did anyone watch Gumby-he was this little green play dough dude that had an orange horse? It was really good as well!

Does anyone remember Inspector Gadget? Don Adams, the man who played Inspector Gadget (and also Maxwell Smart from Get Smart) died a couple of days ago. :(
