I walked past supre the other day and saw they had a "beached as" t-shirt and I got so angry.

I'm preparing for the 13 year old skanks to be walking around with it who think the t-shirt is supporting sunbaking or some shit.

haha i know right, and they loop the video on their tvs .. i think they missed the memo that it stopped being funny months ago

although today i entered supre for the one thing they're good for; plain black skinnies. they're fucking great, they fit awesome and once they start fading i just chuck them out and get a new pair 'cause they're all of like $40 lol

Ever since I saw the top they were selling that said 'Daddy's little slut' a year or two ago I decided I would never set foot in a supre again. I don't care what their clothes look like, that is NOT socially responsible.

I totally agree.
Also, regarding the argument that parents find it an okay store because of its prices - I think for every parent who approves just so they can pay $20 less on a pair of jeans, there are going to be heaps of parents who don't want their daughters going around with promiscuous and sexually suggestive slogans on their breasts.

That video was pretty fun the first few times, like 2-3 months ago.

Only recently heaps of other people had seen it and it's getting annoying, all these stupid people trying to act fob with their wannabe accents lol.

I saw someone I know with the shirt at first and I was liek lol that's cool but then I saw heaps of people with it and that it was being sold at Supre ahaha.

anything selling fluro or slogan shirts need to be closed down.
it's all so mass produced, every second tween is wearing the same thing.
and i hate the tshirts with the cartoon characters on them!!
half the people wearing them don't know the cartoon at all...??!!!
and also the 'band' tshirts they sell there.. and people wear them and don't know who the band is..

I barely even go into Supre anymore. The clothing is so tacky and in general, really badly made. I figure it's worth paying a little more for something which is better quality and you're going to get longer wear from than buying something from Supre because it's cheap and having it become no good after the first few washes and then having to go and find a replacement or something. It's a waste of time and money.
Having said that, I do buy singlets and tights there. But that's it.

urgh. SUPRE disgusts me so much. I had to go in there (hadn't been in like 3 yrs) to buy tickets to iD and I was like "Uh make sure I am not seen here"

Nah but the clothes are shockingly made and are over-priced for their shit quality

1. loving it. the young grasp onto the idea of 'cool', bright and cheap.
2. hating it and avoiding it at all costs. "i wont be caught dead in supre", 'slutty', etc
3. getting over both of the above and realising its just another cheap store jumping on every opportunity for sales (eg beached whale). Its just another store, if you like something, buy it, if you dont like it, dont buy it.
