Has anyone studied Agatha Christies 'the Mousetrap' as a Crime Fiction text and have any notes on it?
I have a speech on it and cant find any relavant information..
Any help would be appreciated :)

its not a prescribed text for crime fiction so its unlikely that anyone would have any detailed notes on the play

which also begs the question, why would your class do a speech on a non-prescribed text?

i know.. its frustrating
We are doing Tom Stoppards Inspector Hound which is a prescribed text, and a parody of the Mousetrap that why we are using both for the speech.
We dont have the question yet, but it will something to do with how Stoppard sends up Christies conventional style etc..

We did it as well it gave me a greater understanding of Inspector Hound. Mouse Trap represents the commonality of the cosy school conventions. E.g. Isolated Country House, Arrogant Character etc etc.
