ooh, pink dove? Now I'm intrigued... (anyone else here use Dove?)

I can sort of understand the novelty of a pink hair straightener, but don't think it was the wisest marketing strategy. The best charity "items" are normally cheaper things everyone can afford, or so expensive that only celebrities can and will buy them (like a pink diamond Tiffany's collection or something). Anything in the middle is just blah... too expensive for the masses, and not exclusive enough for the elite.

Ooh. I just used some multisyllable words in there. The holiday effect is obviously wearing off >.<

Oh and can someone please nag me into starting/sending off my resume for mentor application? I said I'd do it yesterday, but then I got so bored I couldn't be bothered :(

oh no!!! Sprains seem to be going around it seems :(

How bad is it? Can you put weight on it? (and is it taped up?)

I can't wait till my ankle is better and I can start putting some weight on it... then I can start doing re-hab/strengthening exercises :)

Gah. I seem to have been living on a diet of bad stuff. I've had bacon and eggs. Ham and cheese sandwiches. Maccas. Fish and chips :(

On the bright side, I MIGHT BE AT UNI ON THURSDAY, and I CAN STAND now! (but only if assisted by crutches :()

I just thought since I had never done this, I might start, even if it is very irregular in my posting.

Breakfast: (10am) English Muffin w Jam
Lunch: (1pm) Bacon & Mushroom Pasta
After walk snack: (4pm) Cadbury Cream Egg
Work snack : (5pm) 3 mugs of orange juice and a small pack chilli Red Rock chips
Snack 3: (5:30pm) 2nd pack Red Rock chips
Mid-class snack : (7pm) Chomp
Dinner: (9:30pm) Spicy Chicken Soup and two english muffins
After Dinner: (10pm) Bulla wildberry icecream on a stick thing.

Man, when i write it all out like that, it looks really bad. No wonder I put on weight at uni. Just doing this has given me stronger resolve to resist temptation.

yay welcome to the thread Kegs! :D

And yes, a food diary is awesome by means of really knowing what goes in. I'm too scared to write mine at the moment, lol... when I'm mobile to eat more than the crap I'm currently eating (or at least, eat the crap but be mobile enough to exercise it off) then I shall rejoin the awesome ranks :D

On a side note, I think both you (and Mike) need to bring something like a sandwich or two to uni. They're awesome as either a meal or a snack, depending on how much you eat at a time, and they're more filling than chocolate or chips too :) Ideally what you want to aim for is eating every 3-4 hours, so it's just a matter of figuring what type of foods and in what quantities can keep you going for that long without snacking :)

Its hard when one is at uni like 8-12 hours a day, 5 days a week. Some days are really good and I dont eat too much crap, but other days (like today), I have way too much junk. The Filmsoc office has so much junk food in it and it is cheap and right infront of me, so i just eat it.
Today, finally, I begin my diet. (Yes Rob, I have finally begun)

This diet still allows for the creme eggs every now and then though.
