the veronicas are so translucent and pale you can practically see their hearts beating
what an insult to pink.

they both suck but yeah, I noticed the similarity. I was confused when I first heard the Pink song cos I thought, "Huh..that Veronica's song is abit old now.." then. ohhhhhh i get it. For more doubles singing, sing Madonna's "holiday" over Jessica Simpson's "A public affair". THAT is recycling music at its best...or worst.

All music is recycled.

Just think of all the hit songs over the past 50 years that have used the same chord progression and similar melodies.

sing ode to joy over the killer's mr brightside (works best after they sing "cuz im mister brightside" and start singing ode to joy)

they're pop songs. they tend to follow a fairly simple chord progression that emulates in other pop songs...

madonna - sorry over dot allison - substance. the bit that's basically exactly the same isn't in that clip, but you get the idea.

i actually think ub40's "kingston town" bears a VERY similar resemblance to stars are blind.

ha i know!!! its not even just similarities in simple chord progressions.. its nearly exactly the same in all parts!

also, joe jackson's "is she really going ouuuuuuut with hiiiiiiiim"- that song, not sure if thats the title - same intro as the saboteurs / raconteur's "steady as she goes" (minus the psychadelia guitar riff bit)

LOL I acutally sang the Veronicas song to Pink this morning and I must say it really does work.

I didn't realise until recently when my friend pointed it out but the birthday song, "Why was she/he born so beautiful, why was she/he born at all..." is to the tune of Advance Australia Fair.
