It's a motorbike racer similar to mario kart, go through item box type things and get weapons to destroy other competitors, more fast paced though.

Also has a pretty fun battle mode.

dreamcast all the way baby

(ordered a new one for a nostalgiagasm - please see thread)
Sega ;)

Have to say I am more of a Nintendo fan but I love Sega. I still wish Sega made consols. I have a whole box full of Megadrive and Master System games. Trying to get a console to play them on though.

I know. I recently bought from a second hand store all these old Nintendo magazines from around 1999 and there is a review for it. I think it got a 9.5

Yeah. Sega should make another console. Nintendos consoles aren't as good as they used to be. Sonic generations does look good. I like the sonic side scrollers. Sonic the 1st one is one of my favourite games

kay

gunna do a spoliter as well

* SPOILER ALERT *

shadow is in sonic adventure 2

omg fuaaark

serz tho,
there is something about the older gen consoles that are more enticing to play

each one had something unique about it that really separated it from the rest

now consoles are just a 3rd party chug fest with each console virtually the same (same features, look and virtually the same unimaginative games - except the few 1st party ip's)

really disappointing

back in the 3rd - 4th gen days, each console had half its library as exclusives

now ur lucky to get 10

everythings the same
so uncreative

looking back n64 probably still has games that are better than the vast majority of games released today.

also pussies who say games nowadays are hard obviously are n00bs. Play contra on the NES and then tell me that COD is hard bitches

i think video games back then can be considered art

it formed a bigger part of peoples childhoods/ culture (well at least mine) and playing an old game stimulates a stream of unrelated memories of the period

now games are just clones, tasteless and worst of all - emotionless
they are too cold and competitive

everything short of artistic flair and forming memories
they are too concerned with capitalising on a games success rather than attempting something revolutionary to divert the consumers attention

id hate my childhood being built on a memory of screaming at the tv playing cod

fuck..
playing crash bandicoot (first game ever) and sonic adventure 2

mind was blown
