i need to write a speech discussing the presence of 'the other' in the following novels;


- Robinson Crusoe
- Heart of Darkness
- Things Fall apart

The Other is a concept developed by the post-colonial theorist Edward Said in the 1970's in regards to how foreign races (in particular Arabs) have been portrayed in Western texts. There's a lot of research on it available on the Internet so I suggest you start there.

"the others" is a movie with nicole kidman about some psycho bitch who kills her family and then herself and wakes up the next day thinking god gave her a second chance, but she was a ghost!!!!
