The probability of Probability in Ext 2 exams? (1 Viewer)

Is there any point studying 2unit Probability if you're thinking or are doing ext2?

maybe not ex2, but it could appear in an ex1 paper under harder 2 unit - which isn't really a topic in itself, but theres still a chance

yes because you cant do ext 2 probability without fundamental knowledge

what? isn't 2u probability like yr 10 year stuff?

it's not that hard and I don't see why you can't be bothered doing it (I'm assuming that's why you're asking)

There is no 4u prob, I believe.

Well theres a section for probability in the 2u cambridge book. There's also one for geometry. I was thinking that since Ext 2 has circle geo, it might be worth doing. But for prob, i don't think there is prob.

Gotta use my time wisely to prepare for maths next year.

just remember that they could ask 4unit level 2 unit questions.

i remember doing a past trial paper with plane geometry in it.

In past exams there has ALWAYS been a probability question.

Is perm and comb part of probability?

Doubt it, but you can use perm and comb in probability..crap I might have to study prob.
