Awwww c'mon guys, its been 3/4weeks of uni already. Do you all still feel the need to justify your choices? Moi, I was unsure whether I made the right decision, but I am absolutely *loving* uni - the beautiful quad is merely a side benefit :D

p.s - the jacaranda tree is sooo lovely :D

p.p.s - the rumours about usyd students being unable to sit on the quad grass r untrue :p

For all the talk of the Quad lawn...I'm spending about 2 hours a week there, but more on the library lawn :p. The coffee cart is closer, there's more shade, and you're more likely to bump ino someone you know :).

lol I'm never at the quad lawn...always at library lawn, or inside the Mathews study area

Yes, no-one seems to realsie that the computers near the level 1 entrance arn't the only computers, and they all stupidly que for them, hehehe ..

Excersise? I take the lift ....

Stoopid lift doors close to quickly though ...

On that point, has anyone been in the lift in the red center (centre section). The doors shut really fast, and refuse to reopen if somone gets in the way ...

EDIT: I just remembered that this is in the Sydney thread, so not many will know where the "red center" is ...

lol, damn them library lifts!!
they open, and by the time i walk over to them (coz u never kno which one will open first), they close!! im jus lucky someone's in there to reopen the door.....and even though im not a law student, i always go up to the law library cos there's always desks free up there

hmm...why are we talkin bout this in the Sydney forum eh?

you get lifts??? sweet as...I haven't seen any lifts at my school yet...which is weird cause my old school had lifts.

well if youre at the red centre chances are youre either doing maths or FBE degrees. I go to the red centre for my calculus tutorial.

"Faculty of Maths" and "Faculty of Built Enviroment". Also got international student office...
