Its got to do with the split of the Labour PArty and the formation of the Democratic Labour party over the issue of communism & trade unions primarily. You must have notes somewhere from school! ahaha, anythign with Bob A Santamaria should guide you!

The Movement was founded by B.A Santamaria...
The labour party was made up of Trade Unions with Communist leaders.. Because catholics were low on the economic ladder, Catholic bishops said they supported the notion of socialism which allowed poorer people to have the same opportunities as others. To over come communist parties, B A Santamaria covertly lead 'The Movement' which involved nominating Catholics to be the new leaders of the unions and the Bishops ad Priests encouraged catholics to vote for them. When the Labour party found out, the party was split into the Democratic Labour Party and the other (i cant rememeber!

i was going over this also, and it asks for religious traditions, not just christianity... but how could other traditions other than christianity have any role in the development of the labour party??

If you need religions traditions, my favourite way of getting around it is to say that "the other main religious tradition at the time (judaism) did not play a significant role in the labour movement, due to the small population of other religious traditions besides christianity"
That clears you up, it addresses religious traditions, and outlines there role in the labour movement... NOTHING!
