This is taking longer than usual. Last year it was out an hour ago.

Availability of Results

Assessment results for Semester 1 2008 will be emailed to your University mail account by 9am on Friday 11 July 2008. Results will also be available on myUNSW from 6pm, Friday 11 July 2008.

okay lets look at this logically. They say by 9am. In the past we get them the night before.

This makes sense because it takes a while for all the emails to actually send out. Therefore if they sent them Friday morning, they wouldnt get there in time. Thus not getting their by 9am as promised.

Also factor in these people are public servants, so they are probably not going to come in early, and they probably wont stay back late.

Therefore, the results must be sent out tonight!

They'll probably fuck with us, just like the introduction of the 12 week semester. (Though I hope I'm wrong, I want this over with already)

Perhaps the uni servers are now so fast and efficient that they can concurrently push out 50000 mails tomorrow morning at 9am sharp.
If I'm not mistaken, the web services are now outsourced or will be soon enough.

the suspense is killing me (second last semester at UNSW). i too have kept all my emails since 2005, but my old computer hard drive failed, taking with my Thunderbird Inbox to the grave.. but i remember around 7pm.
