a lot of people don't know who the strokes. and then there's those annoying people at festivals who only know a couple of singles and yell out obnoxiously for them, then talk through the rest of the songs.

eh, i don't mind their last album .. is this it > any other strokes album though

The only people I've met who don't know The Strokes are those who also don't know what I'm talking about when I refer to Ziggy Stardust... so err... yeah, I think anyone with a brain knows them. :\

Yeah, I saw them back in 2003 or something but that was for Room on Fire which I didn't mind but which wasn't as good as Is This It. But like absolution, I like First Impressions of Earth a lot, its nearly as good as ITI, and its a slightly different sound for the Strokes which for a band is usually hard to pull off well but they have.

anyway yeah, i was under the impression that club tours just meant small venues .. hopefully not as small as the gaelic though, that was wayyy too tiny for the strokes.

my favourite album remains room on fire. i dont care how much everybody else hates it
it was actually kinda fun getting tickets last time. apart from the alone cold dark seedy part. but i made friends. i bought them cookies. next time. i'll bake em myself. cookies = best friends. plus it was the day when i first discovered bobby-d lookalike

but yeah. strokes reckon theyre coming around in about august.
i just want to see nick play the mello-something i cant remember the ending of the word. EDIT OMG MELI-tone
and julian. cause theyre like the onyl hot ones left
