It's different for Asians, tenille, like wikipedia said so. I'm thinking I'm normal. :)

Yeah cos muscle is heavier than fat. So if you don't exercise your muscle turns into fat which is lighter so you become lighter.

Unless I'm terribly misguided. :mad1:

eewww...

I hate exercise, hate it, hate it, hate it. The running, the other stuff, the sweating.. I just don't see the point.

Swimming's good though, but that's only because you don't sweat as much.

And muscle doesn't turn into fat. That's crazy.

Yeah, I'm pretty lazy. My only exercise is studying.

But exercising is good for later on, when our metabolism dies and we can't eat a block of Lindt everyday. :(

I was unaware that they had different BMI cut-offs for different nationalities. My bad.

I can't believe you are using the Singaporean Government as a resource - this is an ultra-paranoid, dictatorial government who just passed legislation which now allows teachers to check the lunchboxes of every child before they leave classrooms for food time and confiscate anything they think is unhealthy, especially if they think the child is overweight.

Can you imagine? You send kids (little ones, growing children from the ages of about 8 - 11) out to "play" without feeding them anything, then, if they are "overweight" to extra PE STILL with no food.

Confiscating food is bad enough. Substitute it with a few pieces of fruit or something. But starving the kids is just stupid.

I'm suspicious of what that document says....

k. it was a wikipedia source.

EDIT: I went to Singapore before, it's illegal to chew gum and the shops all play Mariah Carey. Weird 'country'.

i absolutely love it! i love sweating. lol i love the feeling when your muscles are burning and screaming at you. it's an addiction! i just hate this weather. the cold makes me want to hibernate rather than run, and thus I haven't been for a run for over a week :(

i've eaten:
crumpets with honey
some ritz
home made noodle and vegie stir-fry
a few slices of home made herb pizza
two mandarins

I haven't stopped eating but I haven't even studied all that much lol I'm over it

I love this weather!

I love the rain, even the torrential stuff - it's so much more romantic than sunny weather, I think.

I'VE FINISHED!!!

Oh wow!! SO HAPPY!! :D EXAMS ARE OVER *runs around in circles*
SEMESTER IS OVER. NO MORE UNI TIL 24TH JULY. Yayayayayayayayayay!! :)

And I went and saw the World Cup last night, which was great :), (would have been bloody fantastic if we had won) :(

And I ate far too much last night, so I won't post it here for fear of feeling much fatter than I already am. Might have failed though, will let you all know when that happens.
