The year 12's of 2013- long-term HSC goals. (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, just a thread where we can list our long-term goals for the HSC, and hopefully motivate ourselves in the process. Mine:Advanced English: happy with a band 6 (92+) and hopefully rank 1-5/25 or so Modern History: Band 6 (90+) and 1/12 (my dream) Ancient History: Band 6 (92+) and rank 1-3/20 Legal Studies: Band 6 (92+) and rank 1-2/15 Business Studies: Band 6 (94+) and rank 1/40 General Maths (if I don't drop it): Band 6 (96+) and rank 1-3/50 (advanced kids dropping down :'()

my goals for this year are

Adv Eng - get over 90, or on. if 88 or 89, it's still okay
Maths 2U - get over 80's at least (ideally 90's but idk at this rate...)
Maths ext 1 - get over 80, maybe 85-90 if I practice a lot
Ancient History - mid to high Band 6
Physics - 90+
Chem - 90+ (or around 88/89)

My goals are: MX1 - about 80 if higher yay. MX2 - if I can pass and get top 3 rank in class yay. Chem - I want to keep my first and a low band six. Physics - Try and get first (I did in the yearlies but not overall) and again hopefully high band 5 low band six. Bio - My filler subject top 3 rank and a 90+ would be superb. Eng Adv - 87-90 come on 90 though I hope

Just a heads up guy, I often see people including myself who write/talk about goals, make sure you act on them quickly because Year 12 is quite short.

Gen Maths: Because of it's crap scaling I'm going to need something ridiculous. However anything in the mid-high 80's + would be amazing.
His Ext: 95+ :S

I have same subjects as you gleeek however I dropped gen maths and picked up extension history I got the same goals besides hoping for a band 6 in adv english cause I hate it -_-

Oh, high 5! Omg I was going to do the exact thing, drop general maths for ext history but found out that my school doesn't run it I'm jealous of you hahayeah advanced English can be a pain, but think how much worse it would be to be in standard
