Am I the only person in the world who hasn't done motors and generators?
Quite possibly, what have you been doing then?

everything but that.
space, ideas to imp & our option.. astrophysics.
our teacher said motors and generators wasn't that big so to leave it until last?

lol wat did u guys write 4 the westinghouse question?
i wrote about how AC generators make life easier and require less unskilled labour.
is that right?
it was on environment? not society

I wrote mainly about the environment however I did put a little about society as ini the quote he said he wanted to help his fellow man or something, which I wanted to acknowledge. Here was my format:

1. Positive Environmental effects (electricity over cutting down/burning trees)

2. Negative Environmental effects

3. "Despite" the effects, impact on society, development of 'clean' AC.

4. Relate back to quote that he'd be happy

I did that, plus a 5th one where i blamed edison and said that westinghouse beat edison who's DC power would've had a much bigger impact and in a way, westinghouse prevented this and so we still actully have an environment. However, I explained it in better, exam-like words and stuff

Yes, probably a good idea considering the syllabus point includes him as well :p.

did anyone do the quanta to quarks option?

i thought it was ok, but i had no idea on the 7 marker on neutron scattering

and does anyone know the multiple choice answer about Hertz's experiment?

I don't recall that question? (Hertz in multiple choice). What was the question?

I said neutron scattering was basically fission and talked about fission with the manhatton project and the atomic bomb and the death and destruction etc

I believe the question aked which property of radio waves Hertz did not use in his experiments. the options were:

diffraction, quantisation, refraction, and polarisation.

I put quantisation but im not sure:uhoh:

Yea im pretty sure its quantisation as thats the basics of quantum mechanics - being discrete. All the rest have something to do with waves.

you were suppose to write the impacts it had on the environment rather than society, i think

The focus was the impact on the environment...but you could always include society so long as it relates to the quote...which I believe the quote was originally intended to mean.

ok this paper was weird improportional in core uestions like 50% core was motor generators which is bs. Main problem was i was kinda under prepared mainly cause i had a legal studies trial in the same morning and unfortunatley only me and one other person do both legal and physics so everyone else had more time than me. oh well see how i go didnt feel good coming out of it but we shall see

It didn't have polarisation, it has superposition. Yeah, I put quantisation too because that was einstein.

Surprisingly good.

The output should be equal, but it wasn't hence you had to find the powerloss.

P=IV

for primary P=12*0.05=0.6

For secondary P=6*(0.0002)=0.0012

There for, there was 0.5988 Watts of power loss.

At least, this is what I did. I'm not sure if I was right.
Thats what i did,

I thought the whole paper was really easy which i find wierd because physics papers are usually the same as maths, HARDER THAN HARD!!
