Thanks for this. You're right on Q30. I drew a new diagram and left out the track CG as well as the track CH which was the one that was closed.

In Q42, you're right in that interest is only paid in 5 of the first 6 years, but the annuity table takes care of all that, so you still have to choose 6 years from the table. That gives you the starting amount for the 7th year.

FV after 6 years = 2000 x 6.633 = $13266
Interest for 7th year = Prn = 13266 x 0.05 x 1 = $663.30
FV after 7 years = 13266 + 663.30 + 2000 = $15929.30
Ahhh yes, I missed the sentences above the table. Thank you, I have redone my answer and got $15 929.30 as well!

speaking of what do we think the cut-of this year will be? 89-90? I think lots of people were quite happy with the test out of my year
