Heya dude

You can actually check the timetables on the unisite now- off the top of my head I can't remember where, sorry
Not everyone will have the same timetable cause u can do ur cores at different times, for example u mite decide to do accounting, management, marketing and microeconomics in first session compared to someone else who mite do accounting, macroeconomics, quantitative methods and say marketing. TThis is because most if not all the commerce cores are offered in both semesters

I hope that helps
I don't actually study commerce myself so maybe someone that does can help you better....
All the best!!!

You don't have to study all core subjects in your first year although most people do because it gives you a taste of all the majors and from there most people find out what they want to specialise in. I went from an intial major of Accounting and Finance to Economics and Marketing because I found them more enjoyable and easier as result.

But 1st year subjects, such as Law100 or other subjects can be done instead of core subjects if they're required for your major, but I'd advise just to stick with the core subjects for your first year.

I think the best suggestion to get your message across would just to letterbomb the admin department.

The timetables are never easy and the seem to continually change. So I usually enroll in 5 subjects and then drop 1 or 2 of them to suit my timetable at the beginning of semester when everything is worked out.

It's not that uncommon. One of my mates from the unibar last Autumn had Tues: 9:30-20:30 and Wed: 8:30-20:30.

It's just the uni being fucktards and the worst part is that its hardly ever likely to change.
