Ok so you know how if you get lower than a certain ATAR you recieve a * instead?
Well I thought this was if you got less than around 37 or 38 but 2 girls from my school are saying they recieved 32.00 and 30.00. How do they know this? Or am I wrong and to get a * you get less than 30.00 or something?

<30 is the UAI system
With ATAR it's <36

Our school had no band 5's this year, so i presume we had a fair few *'s for those that were eligible for an ATAR. But then again, to them a free drink is a free drink.

Apparently if your show the letter with your mystery mark on it to a pub or something, you get a free beer.
