So the prescribed text for semester 1 MATH1151 is
"Calculus One & Several Variables + WileyPLUS 10ED"

Is the WileyPlus online service even used??

if you want to study from it, I reckon just borrow the textbook imo. I was told about how useless it was compared with first year uni notes.

WileyPlus wasn't used last year, and we were told in the first lecture to not even buy the textbook unless we really need it. They have copies in the library that you can reserve anyway.

I bought the textbook new from the bookshop last year when I did MATH1151 and it's still wrapped in the plastic today. Do not even think of buying that textbook, you won't use it.

If you'd like to buy it anyway though, I happen to have an unused one still wrapped in the plastic! Interested?

Sorry, somewhat hijacking this thread but I didn't think this warranted a new one, what about the math1081 textbook? Would I need that, or are the course notes way better?

There's no course notes for MATH1081. I found the textbook helpful in sections.

No need for textbook. Lecture notes should be enough.
