Torts Law is one of our compulsory law subjects (200008), but I was wondering whether it was normal that Torts Law is only a Seminar, with no corresponding Workshop/Tutorial?

Like the timetable only shows a Seminar, unlike the other subjects. Does this mean we just sit and listen to what they say and have no work/assessable material? Haha.

A seminar is often run like a combined lecture/tute so the first bit is a little lecture then some tute work, essentially its a big tute but usually involves some sort of lecture material at the beginning... don't think you get off that easy.

Torts seminars at UWS are very hard work... but it is a great subject. As melsc said, it's more or less like a lecture/tute combined. It's very intensive, and you cover a LOT over the three hour seminar. :)
