Hi,
i really want to do commerce at either usyd or unsw, however will not make the cut-off. I was wondering whether it would be easier to transfer to either of those courses from economics at the same uni or from commerce at maq, as i should be able to get low 90's which is needed for those courses.

Yeah same for UNSW, I did B.Economics in 1st year and transferred to Commerce this year and got full credit.

A word of advice however, I was like you, thinking i'd never get the cutoff for commerce or economics, and had my mind set on going to Macquarie uni...but I surprised myself during the HSC - so its not over until the end of the HSC - make sure you study hard from now till the HSC, cause you might surprise yourself
