Transfering to computer science (1 Viewer)

Hey all, a friend of mine really wants to get into unsw computing, unfortunately he might not be able to get into it next year as his english standard scores are pulling him down quite a bit. So would it be possible for him to get into a degree with similar courses, say a bachelor of science with a major in maths in first year, taking all the computer science subjects as electives and then switching into computer science second year without losing a year? How hard would this be to do, as in what kind of grades would he need?

its not hard. only need 65 WAM. and yeah, comp sci has heaps of electives, you can just do the comp subjects and maths, and some other stuff.
